The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has welcomed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa into its fold, hailing their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a bold and strategic move. The APC believes their inclusion will:

1. Strengthen the party's structure and grassroots networks.

2. Foster peace, cohesion, and internal democracy.

3. Bolster President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign.

The party expressed optimism about delivering resounding results in the 2027 general elections, citing the duo's experience and governance expertise. The APC welcomed Oborevwori and Okowa, looking forward to working together for Delta State's betterment and supporting President Tinubu's vision.
