Victor Ebimayenimighan Warefa is a Nigerian marine engineer, entrepreneur, community leader, and grassroots politician from Ofunama community in Egbema Kingdom, located in Ovia South West Local Government Area, Edo  State. He currently serves as the National Chairman of Ofunama Community, a position that highlights his deep-rooted commitment to grassroots governance, cultural preservation, and community advancement.


 Political Career

Warefa is a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State and has been a vocal advocate for inclusivity and development within his party. Over the years, he has built a reputation as a bridge-builder and mobilizer, particularly among the youth and rural dwellers.


In preparation for the 2024 council elections, Victor Warefa emerged as a strong contender for the chairmanship of Burutu Local Government Area. He received overwhelming support from youth groups and stakeholders who commended his track record in community service and his visionary leadership.


In April 2025, he made headlines when he welcomed new defectors into the APC, describing the move as a major boost to the party’s strength and diversity. Warefa is the Managing Director and CEO of WARECOM Oil Nigeria Limited, an oil and gas services firm contributing to the local content goals of Nigeria’s energy sector. He is also a director of V-PAD Oil Services Nigeria Limited, based in Warri, Delta State. His professional background in marine engineering, coupled with entrepreneurial vision, has earned him respect in the oil and gas industry.


Philanthropy and Recognition

Victor Warefa is widely admired for his generosity and support for local development projects.
