 PUBLIC NOTICE: Recruitment into the Reorganized Edo State Security Corps

The Edo State Ministry of Information and Communications is pleased to announce the commencement of recruitment into the reorganized Edo State Security Corps. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community security and support the work of existing security agencies across the state.

**Who Can Apply?**

Applicants will be drawn from all Local Government Areas in Edo State and may include:

* Local hunters

* Vigilantes

* Retired military and police personnel

* Interested residents (indigenes and non-indigenes) who have lived in the community for an extended period

**Eligibility Requirements:**

* Basic educational background

* Mentally sound and physically fit

* No criminal record or cult affiliation

* Two credible references from the community

* Contact details of three close acquaintances

* Two guarantors: the Local Government Chairman and a clergy member (Pastor or Imam)

* Prior security experience is an added advantage

*Important:* The recruitment committee reserves the right to disqualify any applicant without explanation. Submissions through unauthorized channels will not be considered.
