In a bold step toward strengthening unity and charting a new developmental course for the people of Edo State, the Edo State Indigenous Alliance Movement (ESIAM) has officially announced its maiden online video conference meeting scheduled for Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The meeting will be hosted via Zoom or Google Meet, with a link to be shared before commencement.
The movement, which has been widely recognized for its commitment to promoting unity, progress, and collective empowerment among Edo indigenes, aims to use the upcoming virtual meeting as a platform to deepen discussions on its vision, expand membership participation, and strategize for actionable outcomes in the coming months.
According to the official announcement signed by Comr. Aigbe Ebhodaghe Okosun, the Coordinator General of the movement, the online meeting will serve as an avenue for enlightenment and engagement on the group’s objectives, as well as for mobilizing more patriotic sons and daughters of Edo State to align with the collective dream of a united and prosperous homeland.
In the statement, the Secretary General, Comr. Vsr. Braimah Abdulrahman Abraham, reaffirmed that ESIAM was built on the philosophy of unity and equity, stressing that every Edo indigene—regardless of tribe, faith, or background—deserves an equal stake in the state’s growth and governance. He emphasized that the movement’s foundation rests on the principle that “Development must reach where the ballot box reaches.”
The Public Relations Officer, Dr. Odimientimi Agbedeyi, echoed this sentiment, adding that the movement’s forthcoming meeting will further consolidate their shared mission to make Edo a model of indigenous collaboration and inclusive progress. “Our voice as a people is stronger when we speak with one purpose and one goal,” he noted, urging members and well-wishers to participate actively.
Members have been encouraged to invite and recommend like-minded individuals who share the vision of transforming Edo State into a hub of unity-driven development and social renaissance. The movement maintains that with proper collaboration and a shared sense of belonging, every community in Edo can experience sustainable growth and equitable representation in the state’s political and developmental agenda.
The upcoming conference is expected to attract notable Edo sons and daughters both at home and in the diaspora, as the Edo State Indigenous Alliance Movement (ESIAM) continues to position itself as a people-centered body fostering unity, empowerment, and visionary leadership.
